A message from Mike

President Mike Hague Steps Down

After 3 years of service, President Mike Hague, has stepped down from the FC Dallas-Emerald Coast Board of Directors.  In addition to his time as president, Mike was also on staff as an Asst. Coach for 2 years prior to that.  Mike has been a valuable member of this organization for 8 years and his leadership and stable direction has laid a stronger foundation for FC Dallas-Emerald Coast for many years to come.

We thank him for his dedication and wish Mike and his family great future success.

Mike delivers this message to our soccer family and community.

-----------------

FC Dallas Family,

Thank you for the many years of friendship that you have shown my family and I over the past 8 years. It was my pleasure to work along side our board, coaches, managers, and parents as your FC Dallas-Emerald Coast President for the last 3 years. Your volunteer board and I gladly invested a lot of long hours and sweat to build a club that is highly respected throughout the region.

Over the last 3 years we experienced a steady increase in Competitive, STARS, Academy, YDP, and Camp program enrollments; started the Adult League; instituted Strength and Conditioning training; and placed a high priority on coaching certifications and continued education. We have endured retooling of our training programs, Hurricane Michael, and COVID-19 and still remain financially and operationally sound.

Coach Louis Richard and his staff of coaching professionals have provided the right recipe for success at the right time to ensure our athletes continue to be inspired, develop, and are motivated to achieve their dreams. Moving forward, Louis Richard will continue to transform our Strategic Vision into reality by further refining and expand our programs and spreading our outreach to youth athletes throughout our region. I must admit that it is hard to depart after putting so much into the club, but I leave knowing that our efforts made a positive influence on our athletes.

Best of luck in the future – GO FCD!
